This Privacy Policy describes how NuFrnd AI Limited ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Lossless Video Cutter Mac application and the website at losslessvideocutter.com (together, the "Service").
Video and project data stay on your Mac
Lossless Video Cutter is designed to edit video on device. Your source files, segments, face references, transcripts, and exports are processed and stored locally on your Mac unless you choose to save or share them elsewhere.
We do not receive your video content, audio, transcripts, or project files through the app for routine editing features.
App Store purchases
Pro subscriptions in the App Store version are purchased through Apple. Apple processes your payment, subscription, refund request, and Apple ID information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID.
The app uses StoreKit on your Mac to determine whether Pro is active. Routine editing and on-device analysis do not require an account with us.
Website analytics and advertising attribution
On the public website (not in the Mac app), Microsoft Advertising measurement may collect device and usage information after you choose Accept in the cookie notice. We do not load this advertising measurement tool or set click-attribution cookies before you consent.
If you consent after arriving from an ad link, we may store advertising click identifiers in first-party cookies for up to 90 days so we can measure conversions. You can decline without affecting the site and can clear the choice and cookies in your browser at any time.
Billing and refunds
Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Support communications
If you contact us through our support form, we receive the email address and message you provide, plus a verification token from Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Provide subscription access and prevent abuse
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Measure marketing performance and site usage
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including Apple (App Store purchases), Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile, and email sending), and Microsoft Advertising (consent-based advertising measurement). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. Local app data remains on your Mac until you delete it or remove the app.
Your choices
- Manage or cancel Pro through Apple subscription settings
- Delete local project and session data from the app or macOS storage settings
- Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of account-related data we hold
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
